The Franklin Pierce Cardinals played Kennedy in a loser out game this past Tuesday night and beat them 78-77.  By beating Kennedy they are guaranteed a spot as a West Central District 3 seed into the 3A state tournament.  On Friday they will play Bremerton.  If they win, they play the winner of the Mt. Rainier vs Renton game for the #4 or # 6 seed to state.  If they lose, they play the loser of the Mt Rainier vs Renton game for the #7 or #8 seed to state.   The first game for the state tournament will be on Wednesday at the Tacoma Dome.
