WHS sophomore becomes delegate to The Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders

Washington High's Maggie Mitchell, currently a sophomore, has earned the
prestigious position as a delegate to The National Congress of Future
Science and Technology Leaders. At the end of July, Maggie will travel
to Boston, MA to attend the three-day Congress. At the Congress, she
will hear from Nobel Laureates and National Medal of Science winners
talk about leading research in the field of science, and network with
the world's leading scientists and research universities.
Maggie
was nominated by the winner of the first Google Science Fair, Shree Bose
-- Academic Director of the National Academy of Future Scientists and
Technologists -- to represent Washington High School based on her
academic achievement, leadership potential, and passion for science and
technology.
