On Saturday, April 22nd, a group of school staff will be hosting the 6th
annual Hoops for Hope, a 3-on-3 charity basketball tournament. The
event is in honor of Pamela Raynor, a Franklin Pierce School District
teacher, Pacific Lutheran University alumnus, and former Puyallup
basketball player who lost her own battle with cancer. Raynor started
Hoops for Hope.
The event will be held at Franklin Pierce High School (11002 18th Avenue East).
There is a $60 registration fee per team of three players. All proceeds
will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
