Franklin Pierce Schools is excited to announce new administrative changes for the 2017-2018 school year. In addition to the 104 newly hired teachers, who will mostly fill positions that became vacant at the end of last school year, the following education administrators have been hired and/or promoted:

• Theressa Prather, an experienced Principal from South Kitsap School District, will be the new Principal at Elmhurst Elementary;

• Amy Queen, formerly Dean of Students at Ford Middle School, will be an Assistant Principal at Ford Middle School;

• Wendy Bulman, formerly Dean of Students at Keithley Middle School, will be the Assistant Principal at Midland Elementary School;

• Earle McWright, formerly Dean of Students at Washington High School, will be an Assistant Principal at Keithley Middle School;

• Mike Stone, formerly Driver Trainer in the Franklin Pierce Transportation Department, will be the Shop Supervisor in the Department;

• Scott Allison has joined the team as the Capital Projects Manager for the District;

• Bruce Merritt has joined the team as the Purchasing Manager for the District;

• Liza Klumpar, formerly Director of Information Technology, will be the Chief Technology Officer for Franklin Pierce Schools; and,

• Administrative Interns for the 2017-2018 school year will be Jonathan Shelby (Franklin Pierce High School), Katia Wheeler (Washington High School), Julia Butela (Brookdale Elementary School), Megan Madlena (Central Avenue Elementary School), and Breyan Dobner (Collins Elementary School).

The District looks forward to the leadership these professionals will provide in their respective roles. The first day of school is Tuesday, August 29th, 2017.
