Community invited to participate in capital projects planning meetings
Posted on 01/12/2015
You are invitedAll residents of the Franklin Pierce community are invited to participate in the district's FPS 2030 capital projects planning meetings.

The charge of FPS 2030 will be to develop capital projects recommendations to the Franklin Pierce School Board of Directors, which will consider placing a bond measure on the ballot in a few years. The work of the FPS 2030 committee will have a great impact on the future of school facilities that will serve the students of today, and those in the generations to come.

FPS 2030 was first convened back in 2010. The group was comprised of parents, students, staff, and community residents. The recommendations borne out of the 2010 process aided in the proposal and voter approval of the 2012 capital levy, a 5-year funding measure that will expire in 2017.

The 2015 convening of FPS 2030 is centered around the notion that our community is best served when the community helps define the future of school facility improvements.
