The Parkland Promise Scholarship is a new scholarship established this year at PLU for students from Washington and Franklin Pierce High Schools. Winners of the $5000 per year scholarship are selected based on academic success, school and community involvement, service and leadership. The scholarship is in addition to any academic merit scholarship the student may have already received from PLU. Renewable for three additional years, the scholarship is worth $20,000 over the course of four years at PLU.

"We are excited to provide this additional support for students from our Parkland Community," said Dave Gunovich, PLU's Dean of Admission. "I hope these scholarships will help make PLU a reality for each of these 4 amazing students!"

Congratulations!
